Always nice to see a blade getting used.

Indeed there was, thanks for the reminder! I completely forgot about that exclusive run. If I recall, it sold out in 12 days(?). Congratulations to whoever preordered one, I’ve heard great things about CTS-XHP and the Para2 is a fantastic platform for EDC.

Hey all, just a quick reminder that there is a submit option! Feel free to submit any knife pic, whenever!

Thanks and keep ‘em sharp!

banzore:

Installed a set of Cuscadi vintage micarta scales and an STR Low Rider pocket clip on my Benchmade Ritter Mini Griptillian.  Will do a review of this knive after I use it longer.  Attractive and functional look to it.  These scales are MUCH lighter than the Kevin Wilkins G10  ( http://banzore.tumblr.com/post/10687206904/installed-a-set-of-keven-wilkins-scales-and-an-str ) but feel a little more substantial to the stock Griptillian scales.  This might be a home run if they hold up.

link to the place that sells the Ritter version of the benchmade griptillian (different blade shape and thickness along with being S30V)

links for Cuscadi custom scales (the website is in german but if you run it in google chrome you can opt to translate.  If you email them to inquire for pricing they are prompt and respond in english.)

I highly recommend banzore’s blog and his knife reviews. Great guy.

Admin. note: I carried the Gayle Bradley at work the other day. Gave it a bit of a workout cutting hot tar off of some flashing and also cutting up some composition shingles.

Also EL OH EL at my attempts of decent photography.

Question from Anonymous

I wanna start sharpening but font have money for any real system or stones. I read that you can use sandpaper and a mousepad. Have you ever used this? Any tips?

Yes, you can sharpen that way! Personally, I haven’t done it yet, but I have heard tons of praise for convex edges (which will occur when you sharpen this way). I recommend that you use this resource. I hope this helps.
